Just to let you all no. Things are a lot more positive tonight. Simon rang me today and we went through everything. Because the HFC debt was paid off by my husband, they have taken the £13654 off my IVA, as this debt no longer exists. My payments have come down for the minute as well. Today I have £...

Thanks Debbie. :)

I've just had a promising email from James at Blair Endersby saying he was unaware of the situation between my husband & HFC. At least I have learn to make sure I tell James of everything which takes place, and not just whoever answers the phone! lol

Thanks Melanie. I have emailed them tonight. I am scheduled to get a call from James at noon tomorrow to discuss my Annual Report. What I believe has happened here, is HFC have now asked for the full amount of the loan plus interest as when we took the loan the total amount payable (inc interest) wa...

I have had my annual report today, which shows how much more the companies are claiming. The one which I really cannot understand is HFC Bank who are claiming the figure was not £9683, but £13654. This was a joint debt with my husband. After my IVA was accepted, HFC chased my husband in January 2007...

Attitude I can not comment on the specifics of your case here as this would be inappropriate and also I do not have them. Pleasec contact me to disucss, but as stated above if your debts are higher than in the proposal we can go back to the creditors and get the level agreed. It is not unusual for ...

Sorry, I didn't put this across right. The company concerned told my husband that he was solely responsible for this debt as I had an IVA. They advised him through a debt management company that the best way forward was for him to take out a loan with them to pay of the original debt, then repay the...

As said, doesnt IP firms normally request copies of statements for all balances outstanding to gauge the amount owning, I thought creditors in the proposal will see the amount they are allegelly owned and flagged up if it was way off. This default notice is strange given the 'safegaurds' I did, ind...

I am waiting for them to ring me to discuss the next step. They asked me to get the figures of what I owed at the beginning and this I did. I, also cannot understand how this has happened after 26 monthly payments with no problems.

Forgive me, I'm still a bit confused. I got all my creditors to write to me with the outstanding debt amount, this was passed onto Blair Endersby when I applied for the IVA.

Hi, Please help me. I began an IVA in July 2006. Everything has been running smoothly until now, 2 years down the line, I have had a letter today from Blair Endersby (my IVA provider) telling me that "since your arrangement was approved we have received a significant increase in claims from your cre...
