Thanks, when the F&F offer was originally put to the creditors Payplan sought (and got agreed) a 3 month extension to the initially proposed 3 month period for completing the administration process, so they've already doubled the time for compliance. I'll do my best to take this further with my IP b...

Thanks Michael, although I'm not quite sure what I can do, or why I should be expected to do anything, when the clause which may be breached is one that only my IP is responsible for - it isn't like I have done anything to delay the final administrative process nor that I could do anything to secure...

So, the query for the experts out there is what if any legal recourse is open to us "minions" (against our all powerful, rules don't apply to us IP's) in these circumstances ?.

Back in mid December 2013 I had a F&F settlement offer accepted. The terms of that offer were that (1) I'd pay the amount within 30 days and (2) final administration by my IP (Payplan) would take a maximum of 6 months. I adhered to those terms by paying the money within 7 days. Having now chased Pay...

The date in your post must be wrong as the date you refer to as "the end" of your IVA is in the future.
Assuming the date is wrong, have you actually received your completion certificate ?. If you haven't, then any PPI refunds should still go to your creditors rather than to yourself.

Sounds like you are caught, as if the relative withdraws their F&F offer it's not like you can then offer your bonus as a F&F offer given your creditors are entitled to a share of that regardless whilst you are in an IVA. Presumably you couldn't talk to your employers and ask if the bonus could be p...

A normal F&F offer would be the total sum of your remaining monthly payments, i.e. if you normally pay £500 a month towards your IVA and you have 12 months of payments left, then the guideline F&F offer would be £6000. I can't possibly see where the 32k figure comes from - are you sure that isn't in...

Flipping heck, we're not allowed to be judgmental at at the end of the day the majority of us either are in IVA's or have been in IVA's through getting into debt, for all kinds of reasons.

Posting amended by admin to avoid any hint of a judgemental comment which is prohibited on this forum.

As others have said Steve, if you are struggling to make your monthly payments then you need to take that up with your IP so that an up-to-date income and expenditure review can take place. Working 19 hours a day just to keep your head above water shouldn't be necessary - getting through an IVA is a...

But presumably/certainly your IVA involves you paying less to your creditors than you actually owe them, including interest etc ?.

So why the resentment to paying 50% of your extra income towards your IVA ? - cake and eat it comes to mind.

Regarding the quarterly bonuses, presumably your current monthly payments takes those into account anyway so the anticipated return would be £210 x number of remaining payments ? - regardless of any bonuses. Also, what is the current predicted dividend at the end of your IVA ?. In my recent case I o...

Impossible to answer as the level of monthly IVA payments is dependent on an individual's income/expenditure, not the amount of debt. So whereas someone may only pay back £10k during the lifespan of their IVA for a debt of £17k, someone else might pay back £20k.

Personally speaking I'm not generally anti-advertising, but I do have an issue with both the frequency and the content of many gambling-related adverts, like those which consist of a couple, or two mates, spending an evening competing against each other by gambling. And I'm surprised the likes of Ra...

I really don't understand why you have been so honest with your IP in these circumstances, people may disagree with me but sometimes you just keep things to yourself - it's not like you've worked lots of overtime and earned lots of undeclared extra funds and not given 50% of that to your IP etc. It ...

But are you sure your IP just turned a blind eye to this ongoing breach for the whole duration of your IP ?. And if you were only managing to make your monthly payments because of the overtime then why didn't you advise your IP of that so that they could do an accurate I&E review ?. How could your I...
