I too had a letter from this company yesterday. After reading the above post I thought I'd give them
a call. Lo and behold their number 0800 2545082 is disconnected.

I guess that's the end of that then.

Luna I too was with stepchange and am watching this case and awaiting its outcome. I noticed on Martin Lewis last night that he was talking of a time deadline for all claims. Does anyone know if and when an outcome/announcement will be made on the Greeen v Wright case. It seems to be going on forever.

I didn't even think about it since it was under the £500 threshold.

I've just received a small check back through this compensation scheme and banked it today. It was not PPI, but some form of insurance that wasn't needed. Nothing wrong with Stepchange. They saw me through my IVA with no problems at all, though there are many independents here that have reservations about them! I have now been debt free for 16 months and can only sing their praises.

Just a note here. I was with Stepchange and can re-call receiving a letter from them stating that if I claimed any PPI I would be allowed to keep £499.99 as they considered it a windfall. Anything else over and above that figure would have to be paid to the IVA.

I'm with you relieved33. No one has won £500,000 or anywhere near that amount on the Lotto in July. Lots more but not half a million or anywhere near it.
