Many thanks all for the replies and for your knowledge The Matrix. I rang the 0800 number and spoke to a "off-shore" lady. I explained that these were outside the 6 years and should be removed and I asked for a manager. She put me through to "UK Customer Relationship". I spoke this time to a sympath...

TheMatrix - help please... I'm struggling with Equifax. It's been a week since the end of 6 years. The IVA dropped off on the 3rd. One defualt was removed this morning but a final one remains (same date as the one that dropped off this morning - how does that work??). Was there a specific department...

Many thanks all. Yes, IVA marked as satisfied. Experian actually shows 2 entries under IVA, the first states start date. The second shows the same information but says it's satisfied. I may query this with Experian - with what has been said I can see the fitst IVA staying put and the second being re...

IVA now complete but started on 02/04/2006. Does this simply fall off the credit report? I have read two different articles that state that the Insolvency Practitioner has to arrange the removal. I don't think this is right, can someone agree/disagree with me? Also, whilst keeping an eye on the thre...

Don't you need to tell Tax Credit Office that the children are continuing higher education (full-time)? I thought that they automatically paid until the end of their school year, then they treat sixth formers differently to school children on the claim.
May be worth a quick phonecall to TC office.

One of my defaults should have dropped off Equifax on 21/02/12, but it is still there. It has come off Experian, no issue. I have contacted them and am awaiting a reply. Probably a computer problem then.

Thanks for the replies. Mortgage was refused, even though the broker suggested it would be OK, it was around the time when lenders tightened their belts, early 2009. There is no mortgage on my account, so applied for but not accepted, would seem obvious conclusion. Yes IVA showing, but had a chunky ...

I'm post IVA with 10 months until it drops off my credit report. First question; How long do "linked addresses" stay on the report? I tried to get a mortgage 2 years ago and the lender linked my old and new address. Second question; will lenders see this linked address? Although the original credit ...
