sorry mel i thought the idea of the new system would serve to be fast track and that it was a simpler process. this seems to suggest there would beobvious benefits...? are they planning to have a shorter timescale or is it just a reduced paperwork process??

if one is already in an iva would it be possible to switch to this new system or once you are in are you locked in and committed. i could probably struggle on for a bit yet if i thought i could reduce the yime spent in debt repayment

mel sorry if im being thick but does that mean its ok to repay an x girlfriend with my little remaining funds before entering iva or br. the last thing i want is her being harassed as she has been so kind and has no idea of my problems

i have heard that if you go br and have paid back personal debts the or can demand this back.what power does he have over other people outside of br..?i have been paying back credit card and loans for years but not personal as they have put no pressure on. it could be argued i have been treating off...

can anyone explain what a fast track iva is. I saw something about it but dont really understand. do you have to go br first and are the repayments less. also hoew do you go about arranging it and how does it differ from normal iva route. very confusing

thanks mel for prompt reply. you really are very helpful and i appreciate you giving of your own time to help others. think ill have to go through all my paperwork and figures to get a clearer picture. would i be able to call you sometime for a chat when i know more.?

melanie how do you think the offcial receiver would view this sort of situation. would he possibly view it as reckless and thus impose harsher penalties or giving the current economic climate would he be more understanding

not sure of future implication. also may have problems with security clearance for work..not sure about br.. would or not frown on stock market side even though recent events exeptional and have long history of perfect repayments with no avoidance of debt repayments

yes fully intended to pay it back. in fact have history over almost 10 years of perfect repayments. unfortunately with seemingly attractive balance transfers going straight into current account this was used to pay off some balances and stupidly to pay for some investments . this worked fine until t...
