I am currently in the process of BR after 3 years in an IVA.
My IP has sorted out all the legalities and paid for it from monies they have in a kitty for such circumstances.
I believe that if you need to go BR there are ways to do it without going to one of these leeches....so to speak

Hi Sleeping well.
Congrats on your approval.
5 years seems a long stretch I know. I am almost 3 years into mine, had a few hiccups but I am getting there.
Good luck with it

Just keeping everyone posted on my situation.
I havent had a reply from my IP as yet as to wether they are going to put forward my latest request for a variation, Im just hoping their silence means that they are considering it , or even hopefully going ahead with it!
Ill keep you updated!

Hi Guys
I have just realised that Max Recovery have bought all my debts!
I was wondering if that means that they paid the original debt amount or the dividend amount? Also, now they have bought this debt, are they less likely to accept a variation to my arrangement?
Thank you [:)]

Thanks Michael, I do hope your right!
I have had one variation before when I was off work ill and needed to make up my contributions so my IVA was extended.
I have also managed to run up another small debt which I have declared to my IP also.
Scary times!
