I have filled in a load of PPI forms but i didnt fill in the form that relates to my current mortgage holder. Firstly I think i have never had PPI with them, but mainly because I do not want to upset them and have some repercussions. So, have there ever been cases where people get removed from a pro...

Also ... just for a final update .... when we first told MBNA that we were having troubles and might go down the IVA route we actually got put in contact with someone in the UK, and they were really really pleasant to deal with. They tried to get us to agree a DMP but they were never pushy and were ...

We had (and still have) no equity in our property, and i remember the letter from PayPlan to the creditors basically said to the creditors to accept 26% or they will probably get nothing (if they forced us to go bankrupt). So thats another factor.

Mitchymoo We are going to come in on our IVA at approx 26% and MBNA accepted it at the first meeting. It was only LloydsTSB who didnt even turn up for the meeting, but all the others agreed it so LloydsTSB had to accept. Also I suspect if I actaully get payrises in the next few years and my contribu...

I know we are not all the same but when I got the guts to tell me Mum she opened up and told me all about the problem they went through when I was a kid. I had no idea at the time, but its nice to have another person who understands my problem, especially someone so close.

Hi Max.is Well done for posting on this forum. I remember the sleepless nights before we had our IVA agreed. I remember all the threatening phone calls and all the excuses I tried to make before it all became too much and I couldnt afford the repayments on my cards .... . But most of all I remember ...

I know. I have put down £456 and if they refuse then I will ask to speak to the IP rather than the admins..... So I have had to reduce to demonstrate that we have already forgotten about our daughter .... and I will write to the IP and ask for a written explanation as to why we are not allowed to in...

Hi kallis3 - i know but Payplan have just told me over the phone that I cant class him as an adult so I expect they will refuse my £456. I wondered if there is a different figure for 2 adults and a 'PayPlan style child' ?

Wow sounds a bit scary in itself. I tried to speak to them but they seem adamant that as Emma has left home (gone to uni) then the 'creditors' would not accept her as financially dependant on us. there seems no common sense on this issue, but I will press on anyway .... Also, our 6'4" son is apparen...

ok. I think that Payplan are worried that I want to reduce my payments, but I actually want to maintain my payments, and support my daughter if she needs to, and not just suddenyl increase our payments by £200 just because she isnt at home for 32 weeks a year.

Is anyone else with PayPlan and have a child who has started University? The admin staff (not the supervisor) are kind of implying that I cant claim anything for our daughter, not contribute anything and in fact our expenses should be reduced (and therefore our IVA payment increase) to remove her fr...

I just chatted to PayPlan and they again said that our daughter wont be included in the budget but i should add a note at the bottom of our budget review. Are there any standards regarding this situation? So is she not included for the 32 weeks she is away, but then back in the budget when she is at...

So if my equity is less than £5k then I dont need to bother. But if it is £10K then I am liable for 85% of that, which is £8500. So if I cant get a remortgage and I have to pay another 12 months is that 12 months of my standard monthly payment or is it £8500 divided by 12 ?? My guess is that I just ...
