Good afternoon, Can someone please answer a question I have? If you are required to pay an IPA, does this only last for a maximum of 3 years, even if you are given a BRU/BRO? Am I correct in thinking that after 3 years, all disposable income is then yours and no further payments to the bankruptcy ar...

Hi, I think I will be declaring myself bankrupt after all and I have phoned my local county court to ask them if there is a waiting list and they have said "no", I just need to turn up. Does this mean that if I submit my petition sometime in early March, then I should be declared bankrupt on the sam...

Hello,
Could anyone please tell me if you are given a bro/bru, does this start from the time of bankruptcy? So if you were given a bro of 5 years, would this start at the beginning of bankruptcy and extend a further 2 years after IPA payments have ceased?
Thanks
Keith

Can someone help please? If I had an IVA monthly payment of £350 over 5 years and my debts were £45,000, how much would the creditors get and how much would the IP be paid? I'm not sure how much pence in the pound the creditors would get and I don't know whether this would be enough to satisfy them ...

Hello! I am currently undecided as to whether to go for a IVA or bankruptcy. I owe around £45,000 to 3 creditors (£36,000 to one creditor and £9,000 to the other two). I have no assets and I currently live in rented accomodation. The only reason I am hesitating with an IVA is the fact that I am worr...
