If it gets too bad you can always claim that it is not you, and say "you"have moved. Being helpful though, you give them a new number for "you". Possibly give the number of one of those one of those PPI companies! When they update the database their computers will ring that one instead.

Congratulations. It is a great feeling isn't it. I have a credit card for the cashback which I pay off every month (it's great to see them to pay me money!!). To ensure I never get tempted, I keep my bank statements for the 3 months before I went into the IVA and have an occasional look. The monthly...

I do not have, and have never had any connection with this company but over the years Mel has always given her all to help people. I find accusations of selling people down the river as offensive and inappropriate. Most businesses fail through an inability to make ends meet (and we all know how that...

I complained, moaned, groaned, bitched, resented and was often indignant whilst counting the days, waiting for my IVA to finish. When I got my certificate, was I euphoric? My IVA started in February 2009 and finished this year after 5 years. I am now in the process of making sure that everything drops off my credit record as it should after the 6 year date (early next year). The only default dates that look wrong are shown in the closed accounts section. These were ma...

I have recently made my last payment and am now receiving numerous unsolicited offers of a low limit, high rate card. I have learned my lesson but clearly they didn't learn theirs. My point is I am assuming that the insolvency record is being trawled. How ethical is this. I have paid dearly from fal...
