oops got my dates a bit wrong in last post. Now I think about it, I must have started my Debt Management Programme in 2003 then changing it over to an IVA in 2006. So in effect I'm in my sixth year of debt repair. That means that these accounts are one by one droping off soon. I should also say that...

Since my last post I've been tidying up my credit file through Experian. Initially I got all excited because I could find no record of my IVA or default accounts. But, my elation was shotlived when I realised I'd not included my old address from a few years ago. Sent Experian these details and bingo...

I am glad to share it with you. I cant seem to be able to remove my username off this website though! Ha! I suppose nobody will believe me if I said it was my pseudonym! Thank you for all your help on here, every single one of you. This site has been an invaluable support during my IVA and even help...

I just wanted to share this with everyone who has just completed or is about to complete their IVA. Yesterday evening I searched around the Insolvency Service website seeing how I could go about getting my name removed from the register. As you know I received my COC in the post yesterday. I sent a ...

Thank you, I will apply for my experian report. I'm eager to dip my toe in the water, if only to see how healthy my credit worthiness is. Can I do this straight away or is there a period after completion before things are fixed? I note my details are still held on the Individual Insolvency Register ...

Well, I've been to work today and come home to find an answer machine message from GT stating that they have reviewed the rejecting of the offer with 'Max Recovery'. The message from GT says that Max Recovery have now changed their mind and are now willing to accept the £9000 offer!!!!!! I could not...

Thanks Melanie, I have 10 creditors of which 4 are now owned by Max Recovery and 1 is with Equidebt. The remaining 5 are original creditors. I am very disillusioned by the whole IVA process. My IP seems disinterested in my circumstances now they have me tied in - legally! Communicating is not the ea...

Thanks, Andy. I have been putting the IVA payments to one side on most months. My over confidence that the IVA was going to be sorted meant I tended to dip into it a lot. Would it be better for me to clear the arrears £3k approx, which would probably bring my total payments to £5k, and then make an ...

12 months ago I wrote a thread on this forum enquiring about full and final settlement figures. Through the advice I received, with the help of family, I submitted an offer of £9k as a full and final settlement. That was based on total debts of £31500 of which £16620 was to be the full dividend, min...
