My boyfriend has asked me to marry him, will this affect my iva. My fella knows about the iva, but as the debts were accrude before I met him and my iva was in place before I met him, will they still need to know as obviously my name will change. Will they expect me to pay more.

If you cannot raise any equity from your property near the end of your iva, what happens? Do you have to carry on paying your creditors for an exta year?

I was wondering that if you have managed to save some money at the end of the iva do you have to hand that money over to your creditors.
