Thanks everyone for your kind words, it's nice to know it's not just me being loopy! I'm reasonably sure that it will all be ok but if I'm not worrying about something then I'm worrying about what I should be worrying about! All I know is that we're nearly through the first year, I think we've done ...

I'm in panic mode, my heart is racing, my hands are clammy, I can feel myself getting more and more wound up. Why? We've been in iva since last April, were fully aware there would be an annual review and were expecting it but now that the email has arrived, I've totally gone to pieces! It's almost l...

Hi Hubby received a letter on Saturday and I received one today from these lovely people who care only that we haven't been missold our iva, there is absolutely nothing in it for them at all - yeah right! Anyway, the letter addressed to me had my full name in the window but was one number out on the...

Hi Not really sure this should go here or somewhere else but here goes anyway! I first started reading this forum 12 months ago. I knew that we had reached the point of no return, lots of debt and reduction in pay really brought things to a head. Made my first post 7th Jan 2009 and finally made the ...

Hi here's hoping everyone had a good Christmas and that the New Year is kind to us all. As usual, it's a bit late - that's me all over! - haven't been on here much lately as things got a bit out of hand for me. Had a tough time, lost our eldest dog in September, both cars needed quite a bit of work ...

Not ben around much lately, been really struggling just to get through the day. Last weekend was the 3rd anniversary of losing my son and his gf and I found it really difficult to cope with. Even now I'm not quite sure what the point in anything is any more. Number 2 son was distraught on Saturday a...

Hi Just made our 6th payment into iva today. That's half a year, only 11 more of them left to go. Can't believe we're 6 months in though, it has gone quite quickly and for anyone about to start this, it does 'do what it says on the tin'. To be honest, it hasn't been easy, I particularly have found i...

Lyns,

Sorry to hear you're having a rubbish time right now and I'm really sorry I can't say or do anything to make things better.
Just know that we're thinking of you and make sure you look after yourself as well as looking after everyone else.

Hi we've been looking at these as we're with o2. read here there's no credit check (lol) but as it's administered by Natwest and they were one of our creditors do you think it would cause a problem? Worried that if I loaded (£5!!!) it with money then the bank might snaffle it, or is it entirely sepa...

These are all lovely posts and just goes to show how much we all care for our pets and how well loved they are but of course they give us unconditional love in return. I can't imagine how people hurt poor defenceless animals, our dogs eyes were still so trusting today as the vet was injecting him. T...

Hope your little pup is better soon.
It's hard trying to stop them from moving around when they've hurt themselves, isn't it.
I'm sure he'll be fine.

Thank you all. Today's been hard, there's been tears from all of us but I know we did the right thing. You've all said some lovely things that have really helped. When you have pets you know they're going to go sometime but it doesn't make it any easier when it happens and, because I signed the pape...
