Hi, I am director of a small company, and as a budiness we need to apply for a small bank loan for some exhibition equipment. I am currently in an IVA but my business partner is not, Will this have an effect on the company borrowing the money? We have both been asked for personal income and expendit...

That's our current house valuation and our current mortgage figure (not after re-mortgage or sale. Our IP doesn't seem to be helping us. In 4.5 years we have paid just over £21k, but £17400 has gone to the IP, so we have actually only paid off £4000 of our original debt! If we had realised this in t...

I partly agree with you in that we were NOT made fully aware of what we were entering into. As I have said before, we were led to believe that all costs were met by our creditors. We have had our property valued today, and we now only have approx £15k equity due to the drop in the housing market. Wh...

sorry need to point out the £17400 is the fees they have added. But we were led to believe that these would be met by the creditors. We are both at so very stressed out over the whole thing now, we don't know which way to turn. They are also saying " "We have also attached an estimated breakdowns of...

It just gets worse!. Having spoken to out IP he said to do nothing until 3 months prior to the end of the IVA. I then asked him if he could roughly tell me how much we would have to pay back. And to say I was astounded and nearly fell over is an understatement. Our initial joint debt was just over £...

Hi Thanks for all your advise, I have worked out that there is 17% (approx £35k) equity in our property, so we will not really be in a position to re-mortgage. I am paying 0.88 in the pound and my partner is paying back £1.00 in the pound. Our IVA is due to finish on the 8th August. When do we need ...

I have just dug out our proposals and found it does state that "our house will be sold or re-mortgaged by the end of year five at which time sufficient funds will be raised"
Any Ideas what we can do now!

We are in our last year of our IVA (we have one each) which finishes in August. We are a little concerned as we have had an email saying that the house will have to be re mortgaged or sold to pay the remaining debt, 100p in the pound on my partners IVA and £0.88 in the pound for us. We were aware ab...

Yes its a "one account" originally "Virgin One Account" now part of RBS.
Apparently its "normal proceedure" that because we have entered into an IVA "we hereby demand repayment of the total amount outstanding on your account" As out bank account is also our mortgage account.
We are really worried.
