After my IVA finished I saved up my disposable income for the year whilst the IVA & defaults were still shown on my CRF.

When all the bad stuff fell off my CRF I had a nice deposit saved for a new car & then no problem financing the balance at a sensible rate from a main dealer.

6 months is rather long, mine took 6 weeks!

Until you get that Certificate any windfalls etc will still be due to creditors!

If yours was a straight forward case I would keep pestering for it or wait until you have it before claiming that lottery win!

The Credit Agencies keep records for 6 years so if the start date of your IVA & defaults are correctly dated they will removed at the 6 year point regardless.

Yes the accounts should be marked settled or partial settlement with zero balances. IF creditors don't comply you need to keep badgering them! "Poor" while IVA / defaults (although completed/satisfied) on file

"Excellent" when IVA / defaults dropped off file
