hi Melanie
Maybe I have got the creditors mixed up. My head was in bits yesterday!!
Can a charging order be gained for a property in negative equity? What if I go BR can they still apply for a charging order?

Thanks again David/Melanie. My IP has basically said they have tried everything they can but NR are saying I could afford to pay debts normally and therefore I don't need an IVA. She said that they won't budge on their decision. Of my other creditors, she couldn't get Barclays to vote or Capital One...

Thanks all for the kind words. I have been thinking about this for weeks and thought I'd get it resolved but hey, no such luck. I look on the bright side, I've got my health, i've done nothing wrong to accumulate the debt, they can't send me to prison!!! I have tried my best to resolve it. I offered...

Like I say I tried my best. This was the last day as my creditors meeting had already been adjourned twice. The big ones who did not vote were Barclays (Loan), my CC debt was sold on but they still had the vote on the loan and Capital One. My IP has been trying to get them to vote but they wouldn't!...

Hi all i've just had part3 of my creditors meeting and my proposal has been rejected!! Northern Rock held 34% of the vote and they voted against it. They only held 13% of my total debt but my IP couldn't get my other creditors to vote. Egg, MBNA, Barclays etc all agreed to the proposal but NR would ...

I was hoping I would get it all sorted but no such joy!!! Adjourned until next week. I have to look on the brightside, otherwise I would probably go insane with nerves and worry!! I'll wait for them to decide and move on from there. I have worked out with my IP that should I remove the kids from sch...

I spoke to my IP this morning and have been told she doesn't think she'll hear from them. She has chased them but they say its in the pipeline with everyone elses!!!! She said soon as she hears something she'll call me. I guess I'll just have sit and wait (probably until next Monday!!!) Never mind, ...

There automated messages are so annoying!!! If they say no, then it will be back to the drawing board! I'll l...

Hi all Last week my creditors meeting was adjourned for a week as Tix (Insolvency Exchange) representing Northern Rock, M&S and Capital One rejected my proposal. As it stands I only have 60% so I need to get some of these on side. I thought if a creditor didn't vote it was counted as a yes, but appa...

Thanks Michael and Kallis, my IP is going back to the CO, M&S and NR with the increased offer of £610 and an extra year. This increases the dividend to about 51ppp from 26ppp. Hopefully she will get them onside and all will be OK. It is the TIX(The Insolvency Exchange) that she has to deal with for ...

I've just heard from my IP and my meeting has been adjourned for 7 days as I currently only have 60% of the vote! The 3 creditors that are the sticking point are Capital One, Marks and Spencer and Northern Rock. They basically want me to remove the kids from school which I suppose is fair enough. Al...

Thanks all for your posts! I've been away for the weekend working so only just catching up. I'll have to wait and see what they say regarding school fees when I have my meeting tomorrow. Once I get a definate answer, I'll look at my options. I know what you all mean about my fees being more than my ...

My return isn't too bad. Its the best I can offer anyway considering my I&E. If they disallow the school fees, I would look towards BR and then they would get hardly anything in comparison to an IVA. Like I say, I'll wait and see what happens! I'll hopefully be having a well deserved drink come Mond...
