Hi A full and final offer from my IVA was accepted by my creditors in dec 2013, I have yet to receive my completion certificate from DFD even though I have chased numerous times. I was told that my certificate would be issued even though PPI are still outstanding. My question is can a IVA still fail...

I think there should be an allowance included in IVA I&E for school unform for those people taht need it. Thanks Mel, what do you mean by timing of the determination notice? The overpayment will be from last years claim and i have been in a iva since march 2009.

Thankyou guys for your responses, i dont have a figure to pay back yet but have had a letter from the review team to say there has definately been an overpayment. I am now waiting for them to send though the finalised claim from last year and the new one from this year. Hopefully they won't try and ...

Hi all

My car has decided that after 15years to give up the ghost. With the way things are at the moment there will be no way i can pay for one whilst in my iva. My parents are banding around the idea of getting me another one. Is this ok?

hi

just wanted to say that i got a bt landline after i entered into my iva , i just had to pay £50 deposit which i got back after 6 months. Dont know if that helps.

my 1st year review is in march. the thing is when i started my iva i had 2 jobs , then lost one of them and lost hours on the other now i have promotion at work but with the increase in wages my tax credits have gone down. Just to let you know that i had sky installed a couple of months into my iva and there was no problems with credit check or anything. i think it would be fine if you wanted to go that way.
