Thanks kallis3 - for a moment there I thought you meant it wasn't the completion and I had to wait for something else. Just have to wait now until I am off the Insolvency Register - but at least I have proof now that I have completed my IVA.
thanks

Thought I would give you all an update. After waiting two weeks for a reply to my offer to pay the £158 I decided to phone them and speak to the manager who I had emailed. Cut a long story short he came on the phone and said he was just about to message me as they have now received an email confirmi...

Thanks. I will include in my letter that the IP asks the Insolvency Register to remove my name asap. At least if they do that I would believe that they did want me to complete the IVA, whereas at the moment I feel that they just want to keep me in the IVA incase they can get more money out of me. Th...

I am emailing them and copying in the IP (who I have never been able to speak to), offering the money but only if they guarantee to remove my name off the insolvency register four weeks after receiving my money. Will keep you updated. Thanks janjan

Thanks both. Yes I was thinking the same to offer them the £150 and demand that I then get the certificate within two weeks and my name off the insolvency register within a month. We are wanting to move house as the house we are in is starting to cost us money and the whole idea of having an IVA is ...

Hi My IVA payments were completed April 2014 but due to IP chasing up PPI's I was told they could not issue me my completion certificate. The latest contact I had with them when chasing it up, I was told that one of the creditors had kept the PPI (amount £150) which means that they have been overpai...

Hi all Finally got an apology email from IVA company admitting that I was not in arrears and it was their admin error. They are still unable to close my IVA though as one of the creditors had put the PPI back into the monies I had owed them rather than send to IVA company. This has meant that the IV...

Thanks lifenoteasy, but I do not understand why I am only being told now (13 months later) that I am in arrears - when I was told by their company that my payments had been made and I needed to cancel the direct debit - plus received a letter last year stating that I had made all my payments.

I am so angry. I received a letter last May 2014 congratulating me on completing all my payments to my IVA, although they had to keep my IVA open as they are chasing PPI's and would ask creditors for extension. I did not hear anything else. During this last year I have received standard letters aski...
