My last payment with McCambridgeDuffy was early January and my Completion Certificate was in my hands in less than 3 weeks. Now thats what I call service.

I checked my credit score as my IVA finished it was 891 and marked as good. I tried to get a credit card just to start and rebuild my credit rating it was refused. Kallis3. There would be no problem maintaining the payments, but they would want ALL of the Overseas allowances that we recieve while serving abroad. I know this to be true because I was overseas when my IVA journey began.

Your doing all the right things to repair your credit file but unfortunatly until that 6 year point from IVA acceptance, your previous debt history out weights this. Ive just been offered an overseas posting, but I am trying to delay it till after my IVA completes.

Would shares not be treated like endownments and other assets and paid into the IVA at the begining? If they are surely you cant use this as a full and final settlement!!

From the figures you published house price and mortgage outstanding you are not insolvent so im sure you cant enter an IVA.

Sorry Mel, he said he had a loan and a credit card!!! I thought you needed 4 creditors to have a successful IVA!

Are you renting already? and yet to start an IVA?
The rent will be part of your monthly outgoings so as long as already mentioned its not above the local norm(price wise) it should be ok.

Do you have more than 4 creditors? If you post more details, one of the experts will give you more advice.
I think there will be a lot more buy to let investors in trouble with the credit crunch.
