The lending policies they had in the past are probably leading them to these decisions now. MBNA were very easy with money in the past and now this is starting to give them a cold. However, i suppose they will say this covers their costs, but i feel it will only add to their problems and also the cu...

Just looked for an old credit card bill from this company. Our bills would have gone up over one hundred pounds between us. Well done debt attack. It is a nice feeling just being a few pounds in credit at the end of the month. We are probably the best off we have been most of our working lives. Not saying i am rolling in cash, but it is nice to have a positive balance at the end of each month and not having to pay any pe...

Hi,
It is not whether it is a good amount or not. It is whether the creditors accept the offer and if you can afford the IVA. It is no good offering to pay 41p in the pound if you can't afford it.
Good luck for the iva

We are with Cleardebt and would not change them at all. Yes being in an IVA can be tough, but after the first year we are use to the constraints of the IVA. Overall, i would say that we maintain a good standard of living and have learn't to keep the spending under control.try to keep some money over...

Hi newstart. I hope all goes well with your IVA proposal. Make sure you read what is written and that you understand it. This will be with you for 5 years. If you have any questions on whats in the proposal then ask your IP (company proposing the IVA) or ask on the board, you usually get answers pre...

MBNA wanted us to do there re payment plan over 10 years, glad there were only a smallish creditor. THey are well known for this. Even when the IVA was accepted, they still persisted for a little while trying to get us to do a payment plan.
