Don't worry about this letter too much. I got one when I proposed my IVA as I had credit cards and overdraft with my bank. Very unlikely you will be able to secure a remortgage during the IVA. New IVA protocols have a 12 month extension or a secured loan from a 3rd party of your IVA company to cover this shortfall in equity.

I wouldn't worry too much, the specific question was asked and you answered it honestly. Questions like this are common place and normally do not have a bearing on much if they are seen as finalised and closed without issue.
