McD are one of the better firms to deal with as Breezy says so hopefully it will all be totally finished soon.

You should have no problems with this. I had debts with Barclays and still have an account with them today.

Are they expecting you to make payments after the 63 months? You do need to clarify this. Ebengate are terrible at communication. Email your IP directly and also tell them you will be making a complaint and this might spur them into action/

This is not good - I don't know if there is an Ombudsman you can complain to or threaten them with legal action if they don't sort it out.

You could try contacting Tony Hetherington from the Mail on Sunday and asking him to look into it for you. He's usually pretty good.

I take it you have a creditor meeting on the 14th? If that is correct, then good luck, I hope it goes ok for you.

I imagine it will be for the full term of the IVA as you had the extra year put on. It will then fall off after that.

Your completion will be done as soon as your offer is accepted and all finishing paperwork is done.

Your credit record will still be shot until the full six years is done regardless of the fact that you have finished early.

Hi,

Yes you can make yourself bankrupt and can pay in instalments if you can. You will be discharged in 12months but may have to make payments for up to three years, dependent on your income. Your credit record will be shot for a further six years from the date you are declared bankrupt.

Well done on being finally debt free. Ryan is the best person to speak to in my opinion as he has helped so many on here. Our other expert, Shaun Vickery seems to have disappeared. Otherwise you should try a whole of market broker but I have no idea of any of those companies. Sorry I can't help you ...
