Do you not have a copy of the original proposals that you signed, together with the Chairman's Report which highlights any amendments which were agreed at the creditors meeting? If not, ask your IP to e-mail a copy over to you.

Sorry that no-one has got back to you earlier than this Michael, but could you give us a little more to go on.

Are you in an IVA, and are you wondering whether you might be able to claim compensation for PPI which was mis-sold to you?

There seems to be glut of similar posts on the forum about this firm at the moment, but I haven't seen their representatives posting much of late. Did they warn you that there might be delays in finalising matters for you, and explain what they were? PPI mis-selling investigations and claims are pro...

Well it is certainly possible Dean, but I would always try and work within the existing one where you can - as creditors will be concerned to see it failing at such an early stage.

Which firm are you with, and what is causing you the angst at the moment?

In these very exceptional and sad circumstances, I can confirm that I fully support Sara and her solicitors advice. I am so sorry to learn of your very tragic loss Sara - and hope that the closure of your IVA will at least bring some peace of mind for you, and allow you to begin to look to the futur...

I have a legal opinion which states that only the statutory element of your redundancy would be claimable by the IP as a windfall. So if you have volunteered to be made redundant you should definitely be able to retain the voluntary element. Why not ask your IP to have a look at this again - it is n...

Try and arrange to have a chat with your IP, to see whether they have discretion to reduce your payments, or whether you would need to place variation proposals to your creditors at a newly convened meeting.

I doubt you will be able to get anyone to offer you a mortgage whilst you are still in a live IVA. Is there any reason for the delay in closing your case, as it does seem to be dragging on for a very long time without closure?

All Notices of Breach should clearly state the grounds for the default, and the timescale over which you may be able to rectify this. This is hardly treating customers fairly, if the wording of the paperwork is as vague as you state.
