Creditor claims need to be received and agreed in the first year of the IVA, and not when it should have been long concluded. If your IVA was proposed in accordance with the IVA Protocol, then the extension is automatic and as you say this was agreed at the time of the original creditors meeting. If you are in any doubt, do check with your own IP.

Good for them! They are one of the worst banks to deal with if you are in an IVA, so I definately applaud them for being supportive once an IVA has concluded. They get my gold star of the week award!!

Thank you for that information Chelsea. I think that CAP refer all of their IVA work to GT, but there is nothing to stop anyone from choosing a firm of their own choice either.

They should have sent you a signed copy of the proposals when they issued these to creditors initially, so make sure you keep this one close to hand until the IVA concludes as you may need to refer to again.
