3 months to the day and my name has been removed but my Husbands has not and is showing as current. Do I ring the number at the bottom of the page? (IR contact desk).

So pleased for you Goosed. My name should come off next week and like you I'm finding that money doesn't leave my purse too easily. It was a hard lesson but I can't ever imagine getting into debt again. Good luck to you and I hope your future remains stress free and happy.

Yes I agree with Foggy. Your needs won't be the same as everyone else's. For example my petrol allowance was £450 per month from the outset and food allowance started at around £500 and in the last year was £618 (family of 5 inc 4 adult and 1 large eater). The important thing is to get it right from...

My review was always requested 2 months before the actual date. If you cannot get everything together within the 14 days just give them a call and ask them to give you a little more time. Nothing to worry about x

Hi. I had the same wording as you and initially was asked to either remortgage for £22,000 or extend 12 months. I challenged the company on this because of the ambiguity in the wording in the proposal and most importantly the illustration shown. They backed down and agreed with me and my arrangement...

Good point Foggy. Hadn't considered that. Think I'll forget about it until the 6 year clear up.

Thanks for that esgt1967. I'm wondering if it was because I was applying for the rewards silver that it was rejected. I'll see what happens!!

Watzki, did you go into your branch or do it online? I went into the branch and the person I saw tried his best to get it through but to no avail. Must admit I'm tempted to try again online this time.

Yes they do check and if they discover the IVA will refuse to change to the rewards account. I have a select silver and they didn't close my account though. The chap in my local natwest told me to pop in when the iva is off the register and he would try again.

Hi Sally. Just to put your mind at rest I'll tell you my situation. I had 18 debts, 4 of them were with Lloyds TSB. They claimed for 3 but failed to claim for the 4th which was a credit card for £15,000. Despite numerous letters and telephone calls from my IP during the course of the 60 months they ...

I had the same clause as you but in addition I had an illustration within the proposal called either annex 6 or 7 which calculated the available equity on a ltv method. I argued the case with my IP saying that the proposal was written in an ambiguous manner and he agreed with me. No extension and IV...

I got 3 valuations and didn't pay for any of them. Out of the 4 agents I contacted only 1 wanted a fee. Must admit though that I did tell them I wanted a forced sale valuation but I suppose quick sale is the same thing. The property market is slowing at the moment so make sure you're happy with the ...
