Totally agree about the virtual support(here follows a sad little insight into my life!) I've had a letter in my bag all day today - unopened. All I could see through the window was the word FINAL so obviously I've been totally freaked out about it all day. I thought I'll open it while I'm in front ...

Seconded. I have signed up to tons of forums in the past - uni ones, tv, theatre, weddings, divorce! - but this is the only one I've stuck with past about 5 posts. It's really friendly and everyone is either in the same boat, has been or works in the field. Good luck with the phone calls. I don;t li...

Looking on the bright side - it's nice you have someone to share this all with. Hopefully that will make it all a bit easier (no matter who gets landed with the paperwork!)

Hiya I know how hard it is but speak to someone, 3 companies if you can manage it - you'll feel loads better sharing. I feel better just coming on here tbh. The dividend in my proposal is quite low comparitively, but it is all individually done and all about what will work for you. Recommend the Co-...

I hate how it's set out all matey - there's a personalised picture of a mobile screen on the front. Don't try and be nice whilst scaring the hell out of me!

I read it wrong at first too Goosed and almost fainted!

Have had lunch but still not got up guts to call. I'm beyond pathetic!

I'm just so pleased about it - I'd previously asked my payroll dept and my estranged husband (an accountant!)to have a look and neither of them said it should change. And my previous IP have had all my payslips as well of course! I don't even mind the iva getting the lump sum I get back as if it was...

Really? Okay, thanks. I thought it might mean they were about to send the heavies round. It arrived Saturday and ruined my weekend! I had such a great Friday. Claire from Melanie's office has been doing my figures and found out I'm on the wrong tax code. I'll be about £100 a month better off - isn't...

I haven't used mine for so long - there was a really awful moment in September when I was trying to withdraw money on my Virgin card and it was rejected - that was the beginning of the end! I miss what they could get - the ("proper") holidays and new clothes. But love using a debit card and not havi...

Hi James Just wanted to say welcome, call 2 or 3 companies from iva.com (it seems to be working for me, maybe it was just a temporary blip) and you'll feel loads better when you've done that, I bet. I know what it's like to be supported by your parents and living at home and there are other people o...
