Hi alex.h and welcome,

An IVA is not suitable for you if you only have one creditor but you can still try to negotiate a debt managment plan with your creditor.

Hi helenk,

Being in an IVA will not necessarily prevent you from working in a bank. The only way to discover whether you will be able to continue your employment would be for you to contact the HR department or read the terms and conditions of your contract.

HI s.mc and welcome,

If your current bank account is with a bank to which you owe money or is in overdraft, then you will need to open up a new basic account with a bank to which you are not indebted.

Hi andrea_,

I'm afraid you cant change IP now. Haven't you agreed to these fees?
You should talk to your IP If you think your are paying more than whats on the agreement.

Hi superwang, You don't have to sell your house but equity may have to be released in the final year of the IVA. You will not necessarily lose your car. If you reasonably need your car to work then this will be allowed as a legitimate monthly expense. Also if your car was worth a lot the Creditors m...

Hi guiness,

Do you think this new agreement is affordable for you? You need to be as realistic as possible and make sure you will be able to make the payments during the lenght of the IVA.
