An IVA would take from 6 to 8 weeks. Nine months seems extremely excessive.

Hi misshelen and welcome to the forum,

To enter an IVA your personal debts must be above £15,000 and you should have 3 or more different creditors. In your case you should contact your creditor and agree a repayment plan.
