A rep from Henry's insurers has just telephoned to ask how Henry is getting along and to say that we must not hesitate to take him to the Vet however long it takes for he is fully covered. How about that for service!

My post came this morning which included a letter post office box number from London SW5 - the Earls Courts Area I believe. The letter said that there is a much better way of dealing with debt (as I am a house owner) than an IVA and at the same time "...avoiding the exhorbitant fees of IP firms........

Henry's insurers are excellent - Vets bill them directly by computer link so they get paid almost immediately. They never quibbled even about the home visits!

I wish all IPs would allow pet insurance - one of the companies I consulted at he beginning told me that I must be joking wanting insurance for "just a pet animal" - their words not mine.

Thank you asking - he saw the specialist Vet at the hospital last week - going well - he is still on 50mg steroids per day until Wednesday when they are reduced to 25mg per day in addition he then has to have 25mg per day of another dug which I cannot spell or pronounce! It looks as if you had the same experience as me with some IVA companies - what some of them told me was total rubbish. Fortunately I was advised to go to Melanie Giles - glad I did - my major creditor told my wife that I was in the hands of an honourable IP and thus they helped me.
