May I just add a bit. I turned to Andy when I was looking for an IP having been told by 7/8 companies that I would not get an IVA. Andy was kind and considerate and at the end of the day suggested I went to Melanie Giles - best thing he ever did.

I do not wish to be controversial here but before I found Melanie Giles 7/8 companies said I would not get an IVA - this, in the main, because I would not accept manipulated figures - one company even increased the Community Charge! Another told me the creditors would not accept what my Local Author...

Melanie, alot of posts I have read give the impression that people are worried about annual reviews; mine will be comming up in the not too distant future - I hope it goes smoothly - nothing to report except cost of living has gone up - partcularly petrol and food - a penalty of living in the wilds!

Jan your penultimate para worked for a Samaritan client - I told his creditors who were threatening b/r to get on with it. That was in September last year and nothing, todate, has happened. The client is in rented accom and on benefits.

Quark about your operation - an elderly lady in the lane in which I live had a faulty heart valve replaced last year - she is 83. She spent only one week in intensive care and every day she can be seen riding her bike into town to help out an eldely persons centre - even in this weather.

I showed these posts (before Melanie's comments) to our PP who uses that particular creditor for various parish accounts - he is moving the accounts tomorrow and will use these posts as his reasons. This particular priest does what he says he will do.!
