I did not have PPI at all, I know that for certain. I am in complete agreement with Foggy. The creditors have written off a considerable amount in my case, and if I did have PPI I would just now let it go.

Site is blocking PMs What date did you enter the IVA? What default date have max put down on your credit file? Was the default put on the file after the completion certificate was received. In which case I'd say they should have defaulted you before the debt was cleared. If you have a completion cer...

Defaults will drop off 6 years from the default date.

Equifax are slow, they take an extra couple of weeks. Also important IVA is marked as completed because that is needed for it to come off at 6 year point.

If that's their final answer then yes I would make a complaint. I would also say you stand a good chance of winning. Point the Ombudsman in the direction of point 47 of the ICO document above that states the creditor should mark the account in default no later than the start date of the IVA once the...

Yes, it's gone from your credit file as if it was never there. Banks keep their own records though, and if asked have you ever entered an arrangement with creditors you should say yes.

Defaults come off 6 years from the Default Date. If the Default date is after the IVA start date you are entitled to have this amended to the start date of your IVA. The IVA will come off your credit file 6 years after the start date assuming that the IVA is marked as completed. Check all 3 credit r...

Some banks have monthly feeds from the CRA for existing customers. So highly likely the bank know something is up, even when no further account/borrowing is applied for whilst the IVA marker was there at the CRA. Lloyds as an example I know have a really interesting system, you can have a perfect in...

Correct, they just see that you have an account with someone. Unless the account belongs to them, they will not see who the account is with. Usually that statement accompanies a default entry. It's removed 6 years from the default date. I found 2 entries, one for the account which showed all green, ...

Keeping people hanging on like this whilst PPI etc is cleared up is just not cricket. May be the IP's could issue notification that the debtors obligations cease once the final payment is made and any hold up due to extra administration at the end should not prejudice any windfall gained after makin...

Wait until the IVA is over before going on the game show, a lot of these game shows only ever allow you on once.
