Frank1976 has been in touch and I have responded as follows:

"I am getting the files and having the matter looked into.

Might take a few days as this was an Invocas case.

Please bear with me.

Regards

David"

Dear frank1976, I am sorry to learn of your concerns and I am keen to get to the bottom of this as soon as possible. I would appreciate it if you could e-mail me directly (david.mond@cleardebt.co.uk) with the full address and postcode of the property in question – once I have received this informati...

With the benefit of hindsight, I agree with Foggy that the sentence in question could have been ordered in the way suggested. Later in the letter it also states: "Following lengthy negotiations with your creditors and their representatives, I am now able to confirm that where you have completed your...

Susie, Sorry you thought the letter was misleading - I tried to ensure when it was composed to explain everything in a logical manner. Anyway you now know and accept the position as stated. The mass variation will help those cases where all contributions have been paid and a completion certificate c...

Suzzy – please get in touch with me regarding this as this is not something I have heard of happening previously. If the account was in joint names then lenders will only pay money to the correct recipient and will not normally allow a claim if it is held in joint names and only one party has signed...

Suzzy – I think the same applies as did in Reesay’s case. If you complete the form and return it I will arrange for completeness along with a comment if required about your circumstance. DRSP will then contact you to confirm the details provided. As above, full disclosure will be best – I’ve also co...

Reesay - the point is to investigate whether or not the account has been mis-sold. In your own case, it doesn't sound as though that is the case. In my experience, the vast majority of people who have these types of account have not used the benefits/insurances associated with them, did not receive ...

I'm really pleased to be able to tell everyone that we have agreed a mass variation with creditors to enable us to close completed IVAs with PPI mis-selling issues, here is our statement on the matter: “ClearDebt Agrees Mass Variation to Enable IVA Closures On Friday 20 March 2015 ClearDebt agreed a...

Firstly, I can confirm that ClearDebt are now in a position to offer people the opportunity to try to save money by reviewing their household bil...

I have identified the case.

I have requested the file from storage as there are some pertinent documents that are held on hard copy and have not been scanned in.

However I can inform you all that this was an Invocas case from 2009 which was acquired by ClearDebt in 2012(I think).

Watch this space.

Poppy – where a completion is delayed solely due to awaiting realisation of compensation for mis-sold PPI, you will have no further obligations as far as the IVA is concerned save for continuing to comply with PPI investigations. As such, no further contributions or I&E reviews will be required; no ...
