Hi, No harm in trying to improve your credit rating. However without the express permission of your Supervisor most persons in a IVA are not able to obtain credit even if the lender is willing. Hi,

You can always check with your Supervisor. If your IVA is post 1st February 2008 and is a Protocol compliant one then the answer is yes. Otherwise check the Terms of your proposal.

Hi, Visit a reputable IFA who can advise you on what a £50,000 mortgage would cost in monthly outgoings. In all probability far less than your committments to your credit card companies. Melanie is right - you are solvent and cannot propose an IVA.
