downandout - have you tried checking the number via 'Saynoto0870' - doesn't always work but worth a try!

We are, sadly, in the minority even though this is a highly rated site. Not everyone will even think to go online. I only did it because I wanted to know about Mercers. If I hadn't needed that information then I doubt I would be here now.

If you pay in full then there shouldn't be a problem as you are not asking for credit so they won't check you even if you use a comparison site. Some companies will just check for address details but nothing else.

It does all depend on each company

I think with the Co-op basic account that you can use ATM anywhere and Post Office if you need to pay money in.

Hi Susan.

Do speak to GT on Monday as advised. As to debt collectors - even if they send them round you do not have to speak to them, just produce your paperwork for your IVA and tell them to contact GT.

Problem is that most people will just grab at the first lifeline thrown to them without doing any research. This forum is brilliant but even though there are thousands of people on here, there are many more thousands who haven't a clue unfortunately. There will always be some who sign up just to get...

Some insurance companies do. We had one of our dogs insured via Protect your Bubble last year and when the renewal came up I was told the insurance company had changed and we were required to sign a credit agreement and there would be a credit check. Needless to say I didn't remain with them - would...

I've not changed car or house insurance but have done pet insurance several times during the IVA and had no problems at all.

TheArtist - you'll find posts on here from people who have been offered nothing at all if they've offered to move.

Hi,

You are unlikely to get a contract with 3 - I had to get my daughter to do mine as they turned both me and hubby down.

T Mobile are supposed to be ok with those of us in an IVA.

We shred all of ours as well once it's finished with.

Don't do shopping lists though as anyone wanting to go through my recycling is welcome to look at it! There is nothing to say who I am on there.

You may have to wait a while for them to realise there are some goodies available.

Our bird table is a wooden one which we bought a few years ago. I get peanuts etc., either from the local petshop or in bulk from Costco.

I'm sure they will appreciate it!

Hi and welcome.

You do need to speak to your IP as soon as possible about this and see if you can find a way round this.

My parents live in council accommodation and do not get any 'perks'. As with Peejayel they have to wait a long time for any repairs to be done and they're not always the best. They don't get their grass mowed for them, they pay a local handyman to do it. They are both in their eighties and quite fra...
