If you pay in full then there shouldn't be a problem as you are not asking for credit so they won't check you even if you use a comparison site. Some companies will just check for address details but nothing else.
It does all depend on each company

Hi Susan.
Do speak to GT on Monday as advised. As to debt collectors - even if they send them round you do not have to speak to them, just produce your paperwork for your IVA and tell them to contact GT.

Some insurance companies do. We had one of our dogs insured via Protect your Bubble last year and when the renewal came up I was told the insurance company had changed and we were required to sign a credit agreement and there would be a credit check. Needless to say I didn't remain with them - would...

I've not changed car or house insurance but have done pet insurance several times during the IVA and had no problems at all.
TheArtist - you'll find posts on here from people who have been offered nothing at all if they've offered to move.

We shred all of ours as well once it's finished with.
Don't do shopping lists though as anyone wanting to go through my recycling is welcome to look at it! There is nothing to say who I am on there.

Our bird table is a wooden one which we bought a few years ago. I get peanuts etc., either from the local petshop or in bulk from Costco.
I'm sure they will appreciate it!
