An awful lot can happen in the next 2 years with regard to the housing and mortgage market and my guess is it will probably be different to where we are now both with valuations and products available.Tony

kahlan You say your present lender doesn`t lend on shared ownership properties. Would they be able to help you if the property you wnted to move to wasn`t a shared ownership property i.e. would they consider porting your current mortgage to another property. It`s worth asking the question as you may...

Good advice from Michael, your existing lender would be the first point of contact for mortgage funding on a new property, some.
allow you to port to another property.
Your IP would need to go through everything with you and obviously give you permission to look at the possibility of moving.

needout Quite a detailed post but I will try and simplify the mortgage part of it. If you explain to your present lender that the need for an interest only payment period is for a stop gap and you will revert back to repayment as soon as possible that may be something they may consider. Alternativel...

This is understandable to a point but as I pointed out in an earlier post there is nothing stopping most of us making capital payments off an interest only mortgage whe...

polar You can apply for mortgage funding immediately after and iva has ended, in fact you can apply whilst in an iva but you need the permission of your IP whilst in the iva. After 6 years when the iva is not on your credit file you still have a duty of disclosure of information to any potential mor...

marky b If you are trying to add a column of numerical figures then the formula is: =SUM(E2:E38) IF you entered this formula in cell E40 or on the top bar then it would total the numeric values and put the total in cell E40. You can use any cell you wish this is just an example, hope this may help.Tony

You will need a considerably larger deposit than the expected monies from the sale of your property if you wish to purchase at £250,000.
There would be other factors to consider also i.e. affordability etc.
I think the iva will be on your credit file for 6 years. Tony
