He's been adjourned till Tuesday... but at least that's not an out and out no... The Peeps thinks he might be coming round... and by Tuesday we'll have the gp's letter which will hopefully underline how important the health insurance is as the NHS really can't offer the same sort of treatment for fr...

Just saw the puddy email.... oh that's funny! What a dirty mind this site has!! Michael is still battling it out for us and there's another meeting scheduled for tomorrow. We've got a letter from my husband's osteopath confirming how serious his back condition was and the treatments and operation he...

I felt awful when I saw those stars so had to post that message! Not that I never swear of anything but I wouldn't use this forum to do so! Michael has been absolutely wonderful over this... and yes he was personally giving a piece of his mind to the creditors yesterday! I think he's rather enjoying...

Is it possible to fail at this hurdle too or if it gets to that stage is BR the final and only solution?

Thanks Melanie. It's TIX that are asking for the additional amount... I forgot to mention that last time... And I wasn't swearing in that post.... though with the stars in place it looks like I was... My grammar was bad but I was trying to say that the gym we use is not in the least bit fashionable ...

Thanks for all the responses... Melanie - the boiler loan is in my name only so not included with the creditors... but was listed as one of my expenses to show that I don't have any surplus left over to contribute towards my husband's IVA. The creditors thought the monthly amount was for insurance t...

Thanks Lesley. I can understand where the creditors think they could get their hands on the additional £200. They thought the money going for the boiler was insurance... but it's acutally paying for the boiler which we had to replace 2 years ago as the old one conked out. That's £46 a month. My husb...

My husband's creditors meeting was yesterday but no decision was reached as they're asking for an additional £200 a month which really isn't possible. Our IP is valiantly doing battle on our behalf and trying to get that figure lowered, but I have a bad feeling so am trying to think positively about...

Thanks Melanie. You're up late! I didn't expect to hear back tonight but couldn't sleep after all the excitement of Strictly and X Factor! Should I just fill out the application and see what happens? The letter was sent to me via C and G who we have our joint mortgage with... some sort of special de...

My husband is proposing an IVA and has his creditors meeting next Tuesday. I've been sent an application for a credit card (through our mortgage company) with a 0% interest over 12 months offered on balance transfers which I'd like to take up. As far as I'm aware my credit rating is good - I have cr...

Great to hear some good news... especially for those of us just at the start of the IVA process. Looks like you'll have a lot to celebrate this Xmas and New Year!
