Wow ...CF actually doing something without being asked ! What are your thoughts ... if you are happy to manage on a very tight budget for the balance of original time then I would not accept the offer. However, I would be sure that this is realistic- none of us know where this will end. We don't kno...

Firstly welcome, and please don't be ashamed. You have done the hardest thing in seeking help to resolve your debts. My best advice is to sum up courage and to tell your partner. A difficult conversation but one that will release a huge amount of pressure for you and enable you to be "you" in the ne...

Totally agree with Foggy. That's an increase that is neither realistic or sustainable and your IP needs to complete a full review of your circumstances to offer support etc. Let us know how you get on..

Lots of good second hand sofas on selling sites right now .

It won't be long before you'll be able to get finance, but right now stay clear until your certificate is received etc.

Nothing to add but good wishes - your offer of around £16k is a good one and creditors would get their money alot sooner that planned so would hope they looked on it favourably.

Not sure what the benefits are in clearing this close to the end. As kallis and foggy say it takes a few months to sort so unlikely to be done this side of July at earliest ....

I'd focus on what life after iva in January will be like ...

Definitely be explicit around the impact the iva is having on your life and how it is causing you issues with mental health and wellbeing etc. The offer is a good one, but like foggy says ensure you leave yourself able to live - don't over commit your savings pool you have gathered .. you never know...

I feel for everyone right now. Even with 2 good wages coming, affordability for anything but day yo day living is going to be non insistent. I've spent today listing loads of bits on ebay or marketplace just to try and get some extra money for our holiday this year. It's going to be a tough 12 months!

You should be OK- you paid it as soon as you realised and it is cleared.

Why not set up a direct debit to ensure no missed payments in the future ?

When you get it save it, copy it etc ..you never know when you'll need it.

The completion report should be evidence enough for now on things you need. What's the actual wording on it ? Reason I ask is the completion certificate is not a physical certificate and sometimes arrives without people realising they have all they need. You will come of the insolvency record within...
