They asked a few questions but nothing intrusive. They were very supportive and git the best deal at the time for us. We have continued to use Ryan's team for mortgages, insurances, pensions and our Will - They can refer you to some partners they work with.

I totally agree - difficult time for everyone, and sadly I can see more people having to reach out for debt solutions. Budgeting and sticking to a budget is all well and good when prices are static, but they are erratic right now and I am unsure myself how people will manage.

Simon363 - as the jobs market is quite buoyant right now, it might be worth considering seeking a payment break for three months to give your partner chance to find new employment. The missed months would be added onto the end of your iva, but it would give you some breathing space.

Agree that our experts will be a good starting point. I used Ryan's company to get our mortgage after our iva was concluded, and they were non-judgemental and nothing but supportive. There weren't too many questions asked either, and they have continued to support us and renew our mortgage rates ove...

I would echo Foggys last piece of advice ... money kept over each month, withdraw from bank and have it an envelope for a rainy day at home. Its your allowance, but I wouldn't give CF any opportunity to try and claim it back.

Its clear to everyone the rise in cost of living is going to hit hard so its essential they work with those in ivas to make things work - if they don't they run the risk of creditors getting nothing as ivas will simply f...

Very unlikely whilst bad credit history a home loan will be offered readily. I would speak to one of our experts, Ryan or Shaun to seek advice on what you can potentially achieve and when. I agree with foggy in that the calculation us correct. As frustrated as you are, go with it and hopefully in matter of weeks you will be debt free and released from your iva.
