hiya - i understand that ure the expert i need to talk to.

My finance currently has 2 mortages, he rents one out and wants to sell the other and get a joint mortage with me. i have been in a IVA for 18months now. Something (for all my sins) he knows nothing about, I am going to tell him BUT i am deeply destressed about this and want to get everything straight in my head first.

My partner has around £30k as a depot and weve briefly looked at house around the £160K mark.

I earn £19k a year and he is self employed earning approx £20k.

Is there anyway that maybe we can discuss outside of the forum,

Many thanks

Hi r_l,

There is no need to feel guilt or shame anymore as you have dealt with your debt problem by firstly applying for an IVA and secondly making 18 months of payments.

I hope your fiancée will see this as well, we all make mistakes.

Best of Luck.

Hope this information is of use
