How are you this morning Ida? Did you manage to get any sleep?

I know how you feel about the sleep thing. When I was going through all the court hearings for the kids I couldn't sleep. But my GP in the end gave me an anti anxiety tablet - mild - which I took a quarter of before bed (it was the tiniest pill so trying to cut it into quarters was a feat in itself! I think that knackered me out!) and it was enough to send me off so I could get back in the rhythm of sleeping again. Don't be afraid to go to your GP for some support - you need all you can get at the mo - and sleep deprevation is so hard especially when you are trying to keep a family going with so much going on.
You are doing amazingly well. And as everyone else has said - we are here for you.

There's an old zen saying 'Only an empty bowl can be filled'. It means that the moment you think you have nothing left is the moment when growth and progress become inevitable. Everytime you see an empty bowl, think of the potential.
Wishing you and your family all the best over the coming months. Please try and stay strong and positive.
It is definitely a good sign that they are going to operate. They wouldn't do it if they did not think it would be successful.
Also, though not as important as your husband ... your IVA firm would not be putting in a proposal for F & F if they did not think it would be successful.
It's not as important you are right, but when he is well, will I have a house to bring him home to? A car to drive him in?
It terrifies me, he has always handled all this, it's long overdue I should do it but all the same, what if I make it worse? What if I lose us everything? What if the creditors say no and they want our house?
You won't lose everything or make it worse. The creditors are only human and I am sure they will want to make things work for you, and you won't lose your house.

I have been following your thread and I am so sorry for you. I can so understand the panic you are going through. It all looks black now, your confidence in life itself has been shaken to the core. Youre not nuts, youre trying to hang on to something, anything, when everything seems to be falling in on you. I think youre so strong actually, dealing with what you are dealing with right now.
Hang on for a little longer, I am sure any IP will do everything they can to help you through this.
Once again I am so sorry about your situation, I wish I knew the right words to make you feel better.
