Ida - if strength and positivety counts for anything, well you deserve to win hands down! What a special lady you are and I'm sending you all the positive prayers and vibes I can.

If you need a lift/car to use to velindre I can help you there..and Porthcawl may not be the Exotic holiday of your dreams, but if you fancy a break there let me know.[;)]

I admit Coney Beach is second to none (wednesday &friday half price [;)])... although living so close, my girls still don't understand!!!

....and the aroma of the donkey poo must be more attractive than the warm clear seas of the carribean [:D]

Errrrrrrr!!! Give me the Caribbean any time! Not that I've been there!

Mel - I thought you were talking about Coney Island for a minute! I have been there and it's great. Distant memories though!

Keep trying Ida - you'll get to these exotic places one day - all of you!

Hi Ida

Remember things always have to get worse before they get better..... and I am sure although the chemo makes your husband worse it will also make him better.

Stay strong and positive

Cancer treatment is without doubt a very difficult course of treatment. The best part of it is that one day you can look back and say it has given me my life. It is difficult but the support R is receiving from Ida and also the treatment, he is getting the best possible care that anybody could wish for. We are always here for you Ida for anything at all.

As always many many thanks.

It is the chemo making him so ill, the cancer would have killed him but the chemo makes him so so ill. It also chemically depresses him as in it, in itself is a depressant and of course for him, swallowing anything is a trial, so swallowing anti depressants wouls be more stress.

We had th papers from payplan today, I haven't actually read them, they tell the creditors about R's illness, explain the figures and house details, Payplan actually asked for a house valuation, I did arrange one and the day it was down for was a bad health day so I cancelled,I will do whatever it takes give what I can but a stranger here when he was so so sill..............no way HE is first last and in the middle.

As it turns out we just need to sign some statements and that is that, up to the creditors.

Your hubby is most definitely first and foremost Ida.

I am sure that your creditors will be very sympathetic.

If there are any problems, then I'm sure the entire forum will go round to all the creditors and beat them into submission for you!

xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I was told by Payplan the creditors could look at the house and say "OK fine, we'll take the house and share that then" or the car (good luck on that one, we only have it because I cried at the insurers about needing it to drive to the cancer centre, the creditors won't have any good from it)
HOPEFULLY they WILL be human, we have no more money, we have nothing left now, literally our kids and my health.

I can't see the creditors saying that - there aren't words to describe them if they did that (well there are, but they are not printable on here!).

They are human, and will hopefully see that what you have paid in should be accepted as a full and final. You need to concentrate everything on your family and your hubby.

Ida

If you want to pop down to my office in Cardiff with those papers, for me to help you look through them, you are more than welcome - or I could meet you up at Velindre on one of your visits if that suits you better.

I am so sorry youre going through all this.

You saying you only have the kids and your health put a lump in my throat. Surely these creditors are human beings and wont let you down.

Love for you and your family.
