We've just completed 1st year of IVA - debts were £80k. How much should we realistically offer for full and final settlement?

My in-laws have realised the stress we're under and are prepared to lend us upto £15k. Do you think this would be accepted?

Based solely on what you say I would have thought that £15k would probably not be enough. However, it will depend on a number of other factors, including the deal originally accepted by the creditors. I suggest you speak to your IP to get a recommendation that takes into account all the circumstances of your case.

Hi,

Not an expert on these but I would say that amount is way to low considering the level of debt you owe but I am sure an expert will be along shortly to advise you better
