hmm i approached the ip for a settlement figure he has said the remaining balance [:I] i have paid £14,000 upto date been in an iva for 2 years.the total i was to pay was £32,000 with no equity release
£22,000 for creditors.so if minus 3 years fees surely it will be less than £20,000 that he has said, i am paying £555 per month.I see a figure of 34.4p how do i equate this in to money they expect??Also can anyone enlighten me on this she said she will need to look at the claims logged???does this mean some of the creditors havent even bothered to ask for a share and will recieve nothing?or is there a time limit for them to say how much they want? arf so confusing[|)]
comments please.

Hi
The remaining balance seems an easy answer for many IVA firms.
I would think that a figure of 15k will be accepted by your creditors.
If some of your creditors do not prove their debt then your other creditors will receive a higher dividend.

Hubby had his F&F accepted and some creditors STILL hadnt logged claims.
DFD contacted them and again they didnt log a claim so i believe they were eventually excluded from recieving anything.
This is the reason the completion certificate took so long to arrive because of these creditors.

Still it arrived in the end, 3 months after the offer had been accepted.
