Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share my good news with you all.....after a lot of heartache I am finally pregnant! Almost gave up - well I am nearly 40 and this is my second time around family wise.

Early days so keeping quiet - but bursting so had to tell someone [:)]

Thanks for your kind words - have only told my 2 daughters and to be honest 1 of them wasn't best pleases. She is 24 and will find it embarrassing!

Melanie - my hubby has already looked at Swansea City kits and if its a boy it will have no choice than to be called Jack!.

Thanks again - takes your mind of money worries....for a bit. x

what lovely news, I am so happy for you, take care and I'm sure daughter will come around and be excited very soon. My mum was pregnant at my wedding! My brother is 29 and my sister 27! I'm 46!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I have a daughter-in-law (step) who is three years older that me, and I was a step-grannie at the age of 28! Age makes no difference within a loving family, and I am sure your daughter will be the first to offer babysitting services when the time is right!

Congratulations great news. I was a grandma before I was a mum my step daughter had her son 4 months before I had my first daughter, she sent me a card with congratulations on the birth of your baby and added Gran to it. I was 18 at the time so it drew some funny looks.

again congratulations and I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.
