I've been in a iva for 3yrs and just had to pay some inheritance into the iva which I've asked if they would ask my creditor to consider my payments to date to close my iva which they have all voted for and accepted can they start to harass me for the remaining money owed to them and should I cancel my standing order to my iva company
If you have it in writing that the inheritance payment has been accepted as a full and final and you have paid this over-- yes, do cancel the standing order, but I would hang on to the money until such time as you have the completion confirmed .... just in case. I am afraid I never take anything on word as done until it actually is done !
