Should I go to BR as soon as possible to avoid that people come to my house and take all my belongings?

Hi brokeandpoor

Well that depends upon your personal circumstances, but it is probably the quickest way to deal with your debts and protect your assets from creditors. Can you post more details about your current situation so that we can advise further.

Since I have been unemplyed my family and friends have helped me out with money but now as I still don't have job and I own everyone I know about £2000, it's certain that I can't get any money to pay my bills.
I have sent holding letters to all creditors to ask few months brake to sort myself out.
Credit services company have wrote me that they will take actions if I don't sort things out with MINT. What actions? Will they come and take my things before I can claim BR?
I try to follow Citizen Advise Bureu advice and do something to avoid BR but how long can I wait that judge is satisfied that I have done enaugh.
I haven't applied for employment money of housing benefit yet as I thought I will find a job.
I afraid that I will be kicked out when my landlord finds out that I get housing benefit, as you need to give your landlord details on the application form.

Hi - you can go bankrupt at any time, regardless of how much you owe, so if you are not coping with the pressure from your creditors I would urge you to seriously think about the benefits this may bring. As you are unemployed, the cost of making an application should be reduced to about £190.
