Billy!!! So glad that you are okay - have been missing your posts and was getting a bit worried about you as I know, only too well, how stressful the stage we are all at is!!! I had a feeling you weren't well but was also worrying about your little boy as I know you say he picks up on your stress! Anyway lovely to "see" you on here again and hope you get better pronto!!! And Lily - I knew I could count on you to back me up on some kind of embarrassing situation!! Thanks hon!! xxxx
Still gathering info....but hope to be on the right path pronto!!

We're a bit further on than you guys. Our IVA has been accepted, thanks to Melanie and her team, and our first regular payment, apart from the intitial one on signing the proposal, goes out early December. However much of a nuisance the calls are going to be, you will handle them - they are nothing more than a nuisance well worth putting up with when compared to the joy of getting your IVA approved, and a whole new future opening up for you. As with many other posters, we have managed to build up a reasonable balance between stopping payments to creditors and the start of our IVA payments and I hope you can all do the same, even though for you Christmas is not the best time to be going without. Chin up and keep posting. Ours was a hellishly complicated proposal and it got through. I'm sure you will all have no problems. Good luck to you all!!

good luck to both you lizzie and you fergie i have now been in my IVA for 16 months and haven't really looked back, the relief you feel when you get that call to say that everything has gone through is so stress relieving i felt like crying. I'm sure from what i have gleaned from this site that Melanie is one of the best and to be honest i wish that i had come across this site well before my IVA journey started although i have to say on that subject my IP has been nothing but supportive.
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.
