Emma, a little bit of madness keeps you sane.....well thats my philosophy [:D][:D]

Fergie, we're all here to support each other and before you know it, you'll be giving advice and support too....so post away. You could also read some of the blogs, it'll show you how you feel is absolutley normal. xx

I would not usually do this (and sorry Admin if I am crossing the line with regard to promoting my firm) but I am a little worried about Fergiedoggie and would like to be able to have a chat to her this weekend if possible.

I cannot access my firm's website from home, so Admin would you please send me her e-mail address so that I could make contact - if of course FD agrees!
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

I defo did and I can assure you Melanie is great and all her team are wonderful and can't do enough for you.

I was really nervous when I had a convesation with Melanie[:I] but she is really lovely and having met her a few times since can assure you that she is a genuinly nice person.

i am nearly a year into my iva now and whenever I have needed to make contact, I have had instant responses.

She was the second person I took advice from and was much superior to the first company i spoke to.

You will get nothing bu honest, caring and professional advice[:)]

PS, dont worry about the calls, we have all had those, just tell them you are taking some debt advice.

Or don't answer them. I never answered mine - just wrote to them and said I would only deal with them via letter.

As actually thats what I did as 'brick wall' was the order of the day with verbal communication. You have the right to refuse to verbally communicate with them. I answered every letter though.
