Another one is to refuse to confirm your details. They will always ask you to confirm your name and date of birth. If you refuse to do that, they can't speak to you!

Hi Fd,hope you're ok today hun.I can only echo what everyone else has said, but you have got over the hardest part & will soon be well on your way to getting everything sorted out.It is the biggest feeling of relief ever, just to be told that you are not alone in your situation,& that you are going to be helped & supported all the way,& as others have said you are in the safest possible hands with melanie & her team.I've had my iva for 3 months now & i've never been as happy. So take care & good luck[:)]xx

As others have said, dont give in to bully tactics. They will tell you anything if they think it will make you pay up. Call centre staff will have no bearing on the outcome of a proposed IVA.
You are going to be in very safe hands with Melanie and her team xxxx

I am SOOOO pleased that you managed to have a chat with someone, it wasn't as bad as you were thinking was it??

Now you have taken the initial steps, it will be easier.

That is typical Melanie worrying about you and wanting to make contact.

Is there not a Welsh rugby thing on telly Mel?
Or are you in front of that with your laptop!!

So please FD[:D]
