Bad weather can also cause problems with cables!

We've saved money taking out the total package as well, I've been a Sky customer for over 20 years and don't feel I've been screwed by them at all.

Have no problems with the weather playing havoc with our signal since we had the dish moved when we upgraded to HD.

The only problem we've had caused by the weather is when we had a lot of snow. Once Dave cleared it from the dish it was fine.

We didn't even have that problem with the snow this year or last - the dish is quite sheltered.

Ours isn't, it gets the full force of any bad weather so it does quite well considering!

Our old one wasn't but we didn't have too much bother with it.

I'm more than happy with Sky wish I could afford more of a package but not at the minute but hopefully one day. Jan does the HD make a big difference? x

On some programmes it does - they are a lot sharper, especially the films filmed in HD. Wouldn't bother with 3D though.

I would love 3D! We had a look in a Panasonic shop a couple of months ago and I couldn't believe how good it was. It won't be happening for a while, although Dave has decided that we should ask for Panasonic vouchers as a wedding present!

I can definitely notice a difference with HD, although I'm disappointed in Sky's HD sports coverage - the picture isn't as good as ESPN or Eurosport. Still better than standard though.

The thought of sitting there wearing stupid glasses all night really doesn't do it for me and I can't justify (or afford!) to pay any extra.

I wouldn't consider it until there are a lot more programmes on 3D, even if I could afford the TV, which obviously I can't!

Thank you, I did wonder as it would be something I would consider. Not sure as we don't have Sky films/sport whether it would be worth it at the minute. My TV would look sharper if I put my glasses on my eyes are getting so much worse, I've brought my eye test forward and am going tomorrow 6 months early as I can feel they've deteriorated a fair bit. x

I like HD, we always watch those channels when we can.

Last night a man from sky was in our road. Anyways, we have decided to go with them. Its loads cheaper than what we are paying now and we hqave a better phone package. So they are coming back today to sort it all out. x
Its now time to start living and to make some some wonderful memories!

I much prefer Sky and we have saved a lot by using them. BT were next to useless!
