Certainly are! They obviously need to do that to pay for all the home hubs they have to send out to customers when they go wrong - we had five!

Thankfully we never had one of those! When we had their broadband I used to get chucked off every night at 9pm. When we phoned BT they said it wasn't a problem!

I think I know every member of their help desk personally! If I had a pound for each time I had to spend hours on the phone to the call centres then I could probably have paid my IVA off! They didn't even bother to try and persuade me to stay when I changed last year!

Touch wood, we have had no problems at all with Sky with either the phone or the broadband.

Best thing I find about Sky is the phone deal. I pay the extra £5 and have free calls anytime, anywhere. Great as the in laws and half the family live in France so we can phone whenever we want without having to worry about cost.

We have the free calls anytime, don't have anyone who lives abroad though!

We have that as well - handy as Dave is often home during the day.

Same here - my hubby is home during the day and does use the phone a fair bit. I have to admit to using the one at work during the day if I need to make any calls!

I use it all the time, especially if they are 0844 or 0870 numbers!

The problem is that most people you need to phone (companies etc) work the same hours as we do -- therefore you have to use a phone at work to get through.

I refuse to pay for calls that I know I can make for free - and that doesn't include calling from work!

If they are 0870 or 0844 numbers then I either go to saynoto0870 or who calls me to see if I can find an alternative number.
